This huge cave that can hold 7.8 billion people?
Everyone is full of curiosity about the mysterious underground world. There is a magical underground cave which has always been one of the goals that the adventurers of the Earth's core want to explore and conquer.
The most obvious difference between this place and other caves is that this cave is big enough, it is big enough to accommodate gnarly trees, there is a silvery beach inside, and it has not only a unique climate system but also a unique ecosystem.
This cave, arguably the largest in the world, is Han Song Cave, located in Phong Nha National Park in central Vietnam, a limestone mountainous area consisting of more than 300 caves that form a unique geomorphological landscape. Han Song Cave has existed for two to five million years and is one of the most difficult caves to explore of all.
The locals fear this cave also because there are underground rivers, forests, lakes, just no sunlight, and the underground rivers also produce terrible sound because of rushing, which is very different from the scenery we usually see. So, in the next twenty years, the cave has been shaded by the forest, no one dared to set foot.
It was only in recent years that a British expedition dug a new passage here, a news that surprised many scientists, and Han Song Cave finally saw the light of day again. The experts measured the depth of the underwater channel with a cable and found that the bottom of Han Song Cave was 93 meters underwater, making it difficult for ordinary submersibles to dive. The exploration team was only able to dive 77 meters, but was never able to explore the bottom or find any connection to the dark river.
The interior of Han Song Cave is two hundred meters high, 5.5 miles long and 150 meters wide, and can accommodate a skyscraper of more than sixty floors. In 2010, it was recognized as the largest single natural cave in the world.
In addition to the main cave, there are 100 separate caves in Hansong Cave. Not only the depth of the underground river is not yet known, but also the depth of the cave is still unknown because it is very dangerous. According to the "human cube" estimate, the area of the cave is large enough to accommodate 7.8 billion people worldwide, which shows the size of this cave.
The scenery in Hansong Cave is beautiful, with mountains and water, and the sunlight coming in from the two collapsed cave roofs makes the plants and trees inside come to life. The cave is like another world, with forests, lakes, stalactites, its own ecosphere, an underground river and a sandy beach, a spectacular and rich scene that takes your breath away.
The rest of the cave is the domain of stalagmites. From the bottom of the cave all the way to the top of the 80-meter-high cave, a huge stalagmite is lined up, growing in a different manner and displaying a different kind of grandeur. There are also the most eye-catching cave beads in the world, which are beautiful.
There is also a "skylight" below Hansong Cave, which was formed by the collapse of a huge karst cave, and this is also where people look up at the starry sky while they are more than 100 meters deep.
Before entering the cave, one must hike through the jungle to reach it. After entering the cave, you need to climb the cliff and go over a steel bridge that is tens of meters high, which is a very dangerous thing. In the cave, everyone lives in tents, there is no signal in the cave, and at night, everyone gossips in the dark. However, when you come out of Hansong Cave, you will feel that you have conquered yourself in front of nature and it is an unparalleled experience.
You have to wonder at the magic of nature that has created such a mysterious and beautiful place. At present, Han Song Cave, the largest place in the world and the closest to the center of the earth, is still a million mysteries, and its secrets are still waiting for human beings to dig, I wonder if you are interested in this place?
